This weekend is the LSU Florida game. This game is going to be the biggest game since the LSU UGA game during the 2003 season. I have a feeling that this game is going to be a close game that is going to keep you on the edge of your seat the whole game. As most of you know LSU is ranked number 1 by the AP for the first time since 1959. I did not rank LSU number 1 in my rankings for the fact that I still think LSU has a lot to proove offensively and I do not think the #1 team in the country should drop if they do not lose. LSU has the talent to be the best team in the country but needs to show a lot more on offense this week in order to proove they are indeed the number 1 team in the country.

In order for LSU to beat Florida they are going to have to do the following things (some are very obvious)

1. SLOW DOWN TEBOW- LSU could not stop Tim Tebow last year. He ran around and through our defense like we were standing there. We all know Tebow is going to run the ball 15-20 times a game and he has to be slowed down in order for LSU to win.

2. Do not turn the ball over- For this reason I think you will see Jacob Hester run the ball 15-20 times. I think Holliday and Scott will touch the ball 5 or 6 times. The only time I think Williams will be in the game is around the goaline with Jacob Hester playing fullback. I think Coach Miles knows that Hester is going to take care of the ball and he will get 4-6 yards a carry.

3. Keep Florida's defense on the field- UF's defense is young and inexperienced.  The longer they are on the field Percy Harvin, Tebow, and Caldwell are off the field.  LSU is going to have to wear down Florida's defense and force them to make mistakes because of their youth and inexperience.

4. Attack, Attack, Attack- LSU is going to have attack Florida every single play. For LSU to win this game Steltz, Dorsey, Highsmith, and Beckwith are going to have to be in Tebow's face every single play of the game.

Congratulations to Joe Addai, Bougar McFarland and the Colts on winning the Super Bowl.

I have been updating my recruiting page with this year's commitments, almost signees, accomplishments.

Congratulations to JaMarcus Russell for winning the Manning Award for the most outstanding quarterback .  I think Russell won this award because of his outstanding perfromance in the Sugar Bowl.  It also helped JRuss that Quinn and T Smith had lackluster performances in their respective bowl games.

Former Louisiana Tech coach Gary Crowton has been named the new offensive coordinator.  LSU is still looking for a new Offensive line coach.  Also, there have been a lot of rumors about Major Applewhite joining the coaching staff of either LSU or Alabama I am not sure what is going to happen now that Crowton is the new OC.

Jimbo Fisher has accepted the job to become the offensive coordinator at Florida State University.  It will be interesting to see who takes his place.  Every indication is that the OC will come from within the current coaching staff.

Congratulations to LSU for their 3rd Sugar Bowl victory in 6 years 41-14.
